Hi,

with ntop 3:3.2-3 cron sends me an email with the following error
message every day:

/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: ntop:9 unknown group 'ntop'
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1

And indeed, the ntop logrotate file uses the "ntop" group, whereas the
postinst script does not create such a group (only an user is created).

You should either:
 - do without a ntop group
 - create the group (and remove it when the package is purged)

Therefore, I'm going to reopen this bug.
