Re-reading the documention it is obviously documented in manpage, HOWTO and /usr/share/doc/svn-buildpackage/CONFIG. (/me starts flagellating.) However I think overriding/setting a default value for origDir might be pretty common - how about noting that this can be done with -override prominently in the HOWTO?
