As requested by the package maintainer in https://bugs.debian.org/930858 , the maintainer requested to orphan the package or get it removed. Since no one has taken the step to package gif2png 3.x (which is golang-written) and that this package is currently affected by Python 2 removal, I am sending the removal request.
