Hello, The bug in this report has been fixed in the Linux MX 19 distribution (based on Debian 10) by applying a homemade patch : gdebi 0.9.5.7+nmu3+mx19 https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=mx&pkglist=true&version=19-beta1 https://mxlinux.org/ I tested Linux MX19, gdebi works perfectly on this distribution with their patch included, but not under native Debian 10 You would be courteous to fix this bug in the next Debian update 10.3.
