I'd love to understand where the problem lies - in the one of the conversion steps, producing broken image somehow, or within the qemu-system with some sort of good image? There's a known (just discovered) corruption with qemu-img convert within 4.1, maybe it is the problematic spot. Please try it with the qemu-img from earlier version. Also, try qemu-img check on each step resulting in a qcow image (there's nothing to check on the lvm volume ofcours). Thank you! /mjt
