Hello, I recently also started to have this issue, with the dark variant of the Adwaita theme in my case.
I'm on Debian 10, also using evolution 3.30.5-1.1. I remember some time back having some similar issues that where caused by an old webkit, maybe this is similar? Thanks. Best Regards from Berlin, Christoph
