Package: curl Version: 7.64.0-4 Severity: normal Tags: patch buster
Current curl version in buster has some accidental debug output enabled which makes -v (verbose) option annoying to use. Same thing as in #930354 but the fixed version hasn't been included in stable and I'm thinking it has been forgotten. Easiest fix would be to apply trivial patch from upstream: https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/3558/commits/63b9d14da0952b7fdbf94a78937a4d2bd63bf815 (Or then bump version to 7.64.1 or anything newer) -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (300, 'testing'), (150, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages curl depends on: ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libcurl4 7.64.0-4 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 curl recommends no packages. curl suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
