I see no downside in doing so, so why not go for it?
Well, I prefer minimal changes, especially in stable point releases. Also it increases my work :) since I should notify upstream¹ about that then. However, after reading the systemd documentation and digesting some headache pills needed after that, I have some vague idea what this all is about, that it's at least the safer way to go, and therefore will prepare according updates. Stay tuned, and kind regards, Christoph ¹ Now done: https://github.com/inspircd/inspircd/issues/1729
