After checking the git repository: This problem exists on v2.19.7 but is
gone on current master (b9e4aa5e). Also several commits indicate they
are about that problem. So this is probably be a duplicate of #933642
which I didn't notice when checking the BTS. I didn't bother to
reverse-bisect and will just hope 2.19.8 will be out soon.
