While sponsoring a recent fix in lua-lpeg for Ubuntu. I have notice that the current package of lua-lpeg is using a deprecated debhelper compat version. v7 has been released 11 years ago. https://manpages.debian.org/testing/debhelper/debhelper.7.en.html .... v7 .... This mode is deprecated. Might be a good idea to run a lintian test against it and modernize the debian packaging. Regards, Eric
