Please be advised that since the Debian Buster 10.0 was released, "Dusk" theme in xfce does not change appearance of the Thunar file manager, which remains "white"/standard. (Menu -> Settings -> Appearance -> Style -> Xfce-dusk) It so happens to affect some other Debian-based distributions, for example: https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=13125 The issue was non-existent in all the earlier Debian releases (prior to Buster).
