Looks like systemd v244 will handle missing kernel modules more gracefully in systemd-modules-load https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/13856 so I don't think there is a pressing need anymore to (re)move pkcs8.conf -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
