versions. This helps a lot to move on with more confidence in pushing

This is probably a bug in Gnucash. Do you mind to raise this on a
Gnucash related mailing list, or even file it as a separate bug in the
upstream bug tracker at https://bugs.gnucash.org/enter_bug.cgi? The
upstream bug tracker should be the best place to track such issues down
and work on a fix.
