Yes, Jonathan Wiltshire (Cc'ed) pushed a packaging of it to https://salsa.debian.org/debian/backuppc-rsync We also had a small Debian-BackupPC-Team meeting at MiniDebConf Vaumarcus last weekend. Jonathan wrote, that he's also working on the BackupPC 4 packaging. But he doesn't seem to have pushed it to Salsa yet. I though couldn't reach him by mail or IRC recently. (Tried to reach him twice in the past two weeks, also because of our small team meeting.) I assume, he's currently on vacation or so. At the small team meeting we decided to wait a little bit more for his work on BackupPC. But I assume that we probably won't do much double work if we check now what's left for getting backuppc-rsync through the NEW queue. Especially if it helps wrt. to automatic BinNMUs. Thanks for this hint. It didn't come to me that this might be an issue. Will work on this later on this week. Probably won't find time for it today.
