I'm seconding it and will provide the necessary information:

Basic purpose:
Discussion of overall issues that are related to games (like libraries,
potential new games to package, DFSG-freeness issues related to games,
etc).

Interested audience:
A steadily growing mailing list from the Debian Games Group on Alioth,
with ca. two dozen team maintained packages and growing, as more games
are moved into the group maintenance and new ones are packaged.

Name:
debian-devel-games

Rationale:
While the existing mailing should continue to be used for the actual
maintenance (SVN commits, bug reports and installer mails for the team
maintained packages, discussions of bugs in the team maintained packages)
the other list should cover the issues not special to the team maintained
packages, relevant for Debian and free games as a whole.

Short description:
Development of Games in Debian

Long description:
Development and packaging discussion for games and game-related software in
Debian.
Identification of potential new games suitable for Debian. Discussion about
infrastructure issues covering a wider range of games (e.g. multiplayer
issues)
