Dear Maintainer, Please update the package to track upstream from https://github.com/bambocher/pocketsphinx-python/ which, since commit 0954cf3 of Sep 9, 2016, has support for get_model_path in its __init__ function: https://github.com/bambocher/pocketsphinx-python/commit/0954cf38b92234b9dc8bb1609af5275820021c9e This is to be able to use python3 projects which do something like: from pocketsphinx import get_model_path during start. I tested the package version from stable and testing, both don't support this. Problem here is that the source package in debian https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/pocketsphinx uses the upstream https://github.com/cmusphinx/pocketsphinx-python which is a very outdated fork of the https://github.com/bambocher/pocketsphinx-python repository. Not sure which is the correct way to go, switch to separate source, ask direct upstream (cmusphinx) to fix their lagging behind the indirect upstream (bambocher), or something else?
