I don't object. I've been thinking of adding a PDF version of the manual to the core distribution. Now I've done that. BTW, I think Dirk will tell you that I'm usually fairly responsive and reasonable when it comes to changes like this, so it might be less work for you to simply propose changes in Octave (with patches if you can) and then wait for those changes to appear in the next snapshot.
