My home connection is a VDSL line with a PPPoE-caused MTU of 1492, and an IPv6 uplink with an MTU of 1472 (my ISP’s IPv6 is not yet fully suitable to my needs, so I’m still using a tunnel). At work, I have 1500/1480 MTU.
