Package: firefox Severity: normal Enabling OCSP validation for certificates causes at least some HTTPS websites to fail to load, with Firefox popping up an alert box reporting an error like:
"Error establishing an encrypted connection to sdlc5a.sun.com. Error Code: -5990." To reproduce: In the Security tab on the "Advanced" preferences screen, click the "Verification" button, and select "Use OCSP to validate only certificates that specify an OCSP service URL". Setting it for "Do not use..." makes the problem go away. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
