Is there a way to do this that would allow e2fsprogs to be built
(back-ported) on Sarge (which only has debhelper 4 and wouldn't have
the dpkg build enhancements)?
Or would the only solution that I could give people who wanted to
update to a newer version of e2fsprogs on Sarge would be to back out
this patch themselves, manually? If that is the case, it's not a
showstopper, but I would ideally like to have a single e2fsprogs tree
that can produce updated .deb's on both sarge and sid if possible.
