From Michel Meyers messages in this thread, it looks like it also
impacts 4.19.0-2.  I agree that the simplest fix for people today is to
ensure that they've upgraded to 4.19.0-6 or later (or 4.19.0-0.bpo.6 or
later, if still on stretch).

If anyone has any clearer diagnostics about what version of wireguard
introduced the errors for the older kernels, or (even better) what
specific change seems to cause the incompatibility, then that might be
useful for further debugging.

Sorry that i haven't had the time to dig into it further, but i
appreciate the ongoing reports.
