Thanks for contacting the debian-games team. However we are not responsible for sgt-puzzles. This package is maintained by Ben Hutchings. I know that Ben is active in Debian, so there is most likely a reason why he hasn't packaged the latest upstream release yet. It would be ideal if Ben just clarified his intentions. If he does not reply, you can a) package the new upstream release yourself and ask for sponsorship on debian-devel-games or debian-mentors b) follow our salvaging process at https://wiki.debian.org/PackageSalvaging If this answer is still unsatisfactory to you, please feel free to contact the debian-games team again.
