In KDE, the main menu contains a sub-menu called "Debian" where all installed programs that create a menu item are listed). This is only a sub-menu of the main menu, and it has the disadvantage that it contains no localized information. So you won't find Widelands at "Spiele" -> "Strategie & Taktik" (German translation of "Games" -> "strategy & tactics"), but instead at "Debian" -> "Games" -> "Strategy". This, however, does not replace the Debian menu entry, as it's only for some window managers that go with the FreeDesktop.org specification. If you have a look at the Wesnoth packages you will see that they both create a menu item using the Debian way *and* ship a wesnoth.desktop file. -- Eckhart Wörner GPG Fingerprint: 409F 6C94 4850 B947 AE04 F776 505A BA9A 400F 8876
