Hello Jason, If you install popularity-contest and answer "No" to the question "Participate in the package usage survey ?", popularity-contest will not report anything. The file /etc/popularity-contest.conf will have PARTICIPATE="no". Furthermore, if you use debian-installer and you answer No, debian-installer will remove the package.
