In previous incarnations of Debian, middle-clicking on the title bar lowered windows (moved them to the back of the stack, making other windows visible). More recently this was relegated to a "tweak". Now even that doesn't work. Using either the tweaks app, a manual edit of gtk-*.0/settings.ini, or the command line dconf write /org/gnome/desktop/wm/preferences/action-middle-click-titlebar "'lower'" .. it should be possible to configure middle clicking on a title bar to lower the window in question. This no longer works. Other values, such as "minimize", do still work. It would be nice if "lower" functionality could be restored.
