The GMail support in mail-notification seems to have broken a few days ago. I haven't had a chance to investigate further yet, but I'd suspect a change on the GMail side has caused the problem. The Google Talk notification in Windows still works, and accessing mail through the web interface works fine. mail-notification, however, shows "unable to retrieve feed: Generic error" for two separate gmail accounts. These two accounts work fine with Google Talk notification as well as accessing them through the regular gmail web interface. This is probably going to be an upstream issue I'd imagine.
