Package: ansible Version: 2.7.7+dfsg-1 Severity: normal Under certain conditions (duplicat vm names, I think) the inventory through the vmware plugin fails with this error:
ERROR! Unexpected Exception, this is probably a bug: Object of type vim.CustomFieldsManager.StringValue is not JSON serializable The bug is reported in ansible [1] and resolved for version 2.8 [2] and version 2.7.9 [3], but debian stable has a previous version (2.7.7).
