Control: reassign -1 debianutils Control: retitle -1 debianutils should not call update-mime in its maintainer scripts. Control: severity -1 normal
Hi Clint, debianutils calls update-mime in its postinst and postrm scripts, but it seems to me that it is unnecessary because a) update-mime has a dpkg trigger to run when it is needed, and b) debianutils does not ship a mailcap file. If I am not wrong, can you remove the call from the sripts ? (Reassigning #940066 to debianutils; a separate bug is open to address the noisy warnings of update-mime.)
