Looking at the following message and the next ones, I was also facing a trouble and try to find a way to solve it on my system: https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/pkg-nvidia-devel/2019-August/017339.html Just to say that the legacy-390xx driver is not working here. Finally holding the version to 418.88-1 using https://snapshot.debian.org/ is fine. ;-) Thanks, Patrice
