Reading the man page.

  The sentence:

"The pager can be specified in a number of ways, or else will fall back to a
default is used (see option"

  The words "is used" do not make sense with the previous part of the
sentence.

  It could be

a) ... or else will fall back to a default (see option

b) ... or else a default is used (see option

c) ?
