Package: widelands Version: build9half-7 Severity: wishlist Lines 26-46 and lines 118-120 of /usr/share/games/widelands/txts/README contain information, that are a) not applicable for Unix systems at all (Windows-specific) b) not needed for a Debian system where dependencies are resolved automatically (e.g. SDL dependency) c) counterproductive (e.g. note that widelands has to be started in its directory) and d) obscure really important information in the readme
I therefore propose patching the file so that the above mentioned lines do not appear in the readme (which is displayed in-game). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages widelands depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.3-1 GCC support library ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-5 PNG library - runtime ii libsdl-image1.2 1.2.4-1 image loading library for Simple D ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.6-1.1+b1 mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl-net1.2 1.2.5-6 network library for Simple DirectM ii libsdl-ttf2.0-0 2.0.7-1 ttf library for Simple DirectMedia ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.9-4 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libstdc++6 4.0.3-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii widelands-data build9half-7 fantasy real-time strategy game (d ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-11 compression library - runtime widelands recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
