As you can see from the thread history, this has been waiting on a response from debian for over four months. In the interim, I adopted another FOSS task for my FOSS time-budget and so won't be available for this 'for a while'. If you're motivated, you can share this case as yet another example of how debian discourages participation by dropping the ball in communicating with potential contributors.
