I've run into this as well (the same situation others have reported,
attepting to upgrade perl and related packages); Axel Beckert's fix "A"
doesn't seem to work for me. I haven't tried "B" yet, but if anyone would
like me to collect any information on this bug while I can reliably
reproduce it, please let me know how I can help (on- or off-list is fine).
