Package: apt Severity: wishlist In a recent pair of related threads about using alternate identifiers, it became clear that different folks prefer different kinds of identifiers and not all of the preferred options are supported by apt.

I think this is a better option than hard-coding support for specific kinds of identifiers like years or versions in apt. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
