Well, the prep code has not yet been ported to the ARCH=powerpc tree, as such, the 2.6.16 -powerpc kernel are not working on prep machine. Either 2.6.16 is stopped from entering testing, and prep users keep 2.6.15 until the situation is solved for 2.6.17, or we build an ARCH=ppc -ppc flavour for use by the prep users. Alternatively, we can backport the prep fixes once they are implemented for 2.6.17.
