Package: seabios Version: 1.12.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I tried to install FreeDOS 12 with qemu-kvm. Booting the FreeDOS installer from the emulated DVD drive is working, but as soon as the installer tries to locate the packages to be install the following error occurs: Unable to locate the installation packages. A reboot may help. If I try to access the CDROM after aborting the FreeDOS installation process, I get the following error: A:\>dir d: Volume in drive D Error reading from drive D: data area: drive not ready (A)bort, (R)etry, (F)ail? This seems to be a regression as installing and using seabios_1.10.2-1 from oldstable fixes the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled -- no debconf information
