Package: youtube-dl Version: 2019.07.02-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Just today I observed this behavior. I downloaded a youtube file using youtube-dl. $ youtube-dl -c -f 22 keayO5ZxNN8 [youtube] keayO5ZxNN8: Downloading webpage [youtube] keayO5ZxNN8: Downloading video info webpage WARNING: Unable to extract video title [download] _-keayO5ZxNN8.mp4 has already been downloaded The above seems to have been fixed just now by this patch/commit https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/commit/8dbf751aa241475dd8a7a6d3040713b5874fd057 This is and would be a major issue for people who use youtube-dl. So it might be worth pushing the fixed release in Debian soonish. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (100, 'unstable-debug'), (100, 'experimental'), (100, 'unstable'), (50, 'experimental-debug') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_IN:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages youtube-dl depends on: ii python3 3.7.3-1 ii python3-pkg-resources 41.0.1-1 Versions of packages youtube-dl recommends: ii ca-certificates 20190110 ii curl 7.65.1-1 ii ffmpeg 7:4.1.3-1 ii mpv 0.29.1-1 ii phantomjs 2.1.1+dfsg-2 ii python3-pyxattr 0.6.1-1 ii rtmpdump 2.4+20151223.gitfa8646d.1-2 ii wget 1.20.1-1.1 youtube-dl suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com E493 D466 6D67 59F5 1FD0 930F 870E 9A5B 5869 609C
