Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian....@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition
(please explain about the transition: impacted packages, reason, ... for more info see: https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/ReleaseTeam/Transitions) Upstream had already bumped their SOVERSION to 3 long time ago. We didn't bump it in the past because the ABI is actually compatible. According to the previous discussion on -devel, I'd better bump it to 3 following upstream. There is neither API nor ABI bump. Just a SOVERSION change.
