I'm going to upgrade this package to 0.28.1, and sent some transition pings to reverse dependencies maintainers two weeks ago. Some of them were closed, but most of them still need actions (patch them myself?). I'm still intending to salvage this package, but didn't get time because of DebConf. I'll come back on next week, and going to start upgrade transition for this package.
