Package: webmin-exports Version: 1.180-3 Severity: minor
when configuring an export, the last line is: Immediately sync all writes? []Yes []No []Default (usually No) But the default behaviour of nfs-kernel-server is now YES: # /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server restart Stopping NFS kernel daemon: mountd nfsd. Unexporting directories for NFS kernel daemon...done. Exporting directories for NFS kernel daemon...exportfs: /etc/exports [1]: No 'sync' or 'async' option specified for export "192.168.0.11:/home". Assuming default behaviour ('sync'). NOTE: this default has changed from previous versions done. Starting NFS kernel daemon: nfsd mountd. So this small text "usually No" should be either removed or fixed. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-k7 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
