I don't think it's worth it in the gdr case, indeed. In the dgit case, it could be very convenient. The danger is that dgit starts making the wrong sort of quilt fixup commits which could be quite annoying. We probably want to hear from users. Why would this be useful with tag2upload? git-debpush will always put a quilt mode tag in. -- Sean Whitton
