Package: fwupd Version: 1.2.6-1 Severity: important This bug: https://github.com/hughsie/fwupd/issues/1139 prevents fwupd from working because the firmware has the unsupported property. The bug exists in all debian versions and doesn't exist in the latest upstream version.
The end result is that fwupd is rendered unusable tl;dr the error is this: # fwupdmgr get-updates cannot handle firmware requirement 'not-child'
