If you plan to add anything that relies on "notifications" in the Release file, please keep in mind that the mechanism still needs to work in setups that are supposed to run unattended. Build chroots in my case, and probably most machines in any data center where there is no admin typing "apt(-get) update" every other day. Please don't over-engineer it. Christoph
