Thank you very much for your patch, David. While your patch looks reasonable and correct to me, I must admit that I don't have too much insights in the XML::LibXML internals. Therefor I want to ask you if you maybe could provide a test that fails with the current implementation and works with your fix? I think it would fit into t/11memory.t pretty well.
