No worries. It feels so awkward to work on packaging yet another container engine (a third one for me) but that's insane Golang volatility for you... ;) Here is packaging repository: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libpod > Sorry for only informing you now, but I missed your ITP (and some related > ones): it seems like wnpp.d.n is currently broken, it doesn't list results > when searching for podman or other packages with ITPs... I guess I've never noticed as I always open the following page and search for packages on it: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?dist=unstable;package=wnpp > In any case, I would love to join efforts with you, Splendid. :) > Jamie (in CC) and myself are also interested in seeing podman land in > Debian, started working towards this, and made podman-team on Salsa. > [...] > and I will send you an invite to podman-team. For now let's maintain libpod/podman under "debian" name space (formerly known as collab-maint"). From my experience, a special private group like "Docker" does not work well enough on Salsa. IMHO there is no reason to have podman-team. Most if not all of libpod's build dependencies should be maintained under Golang team anyway and maybe even libpod itself. I recommend to maintain "conman" under "debian" umbrella as well. -- All the best, Dmitry Smirnov. --- Good luck happens when preparedness meets opportunity.
