Package: vim Version: 2:8.1.0875-4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I get those lines filling up the terminal: (gvim:11681): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 23:48:15.225: IA__gdk_drawable_get_size: assertion 'GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed It happens when scrolling in the right window split when the window is splitted vertically, typically when using nerdtree. To reproduce: gvim -u NONE -U NONE -N /path/to/file/long/enough/to/be/scrolled Split the window vertically. Make right split active. Scroll. In case it matters, I'm using Mate environment and I tried to change theme but to no avail. (I have no idea what triggers this warning but I read on some Internet post that warnings similar to this one could be theme related.) Please ask for more info if needed. Thanks for forwarding if I'm knocking at the wrong door. -- Jérôme -- Package-specific info: --- real paths of main Vim binaries --- /usr/bin/vi is /usr/bin/vim.gtk /usr/bin/vim is /usr/bin/vim.gtk /usr/bin/gvim is /usr/bin/vim.gtk -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (300, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages vim depends on: ii libacl1 2.2.53-4 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libgpm2 1.20.7-5 ii libselinux1 2.8-1+b1 ii libtinfo6 6.1+20181013-2 ii vim-common 2:8.1.0875-4 ii vim-runtime 2:8.1.0875-4 vim recommends no packages.
