Source: linux Severity: wishlist Tags: upstream patch Dear Maintainer,
GKH has been purging __kernel_fpu_{begin,end}() from all kernels including LTS (4.19/5) and it's needed for AES-NI/AVX support in the zfs package. If this commit makes it to debian it will break all older zfs releases and will cause very high cpu and terrible speed with encrypted zfs pools. Arch Linux has already reverted the offending commit in their distro.
