Unless I'm wrong somewhere, if I remove erlang-mode, people upgrading from 
erlang 10.b.7 would lose the emacs-mode, which was installed as a part of the 
package, and that is bad.

I would not discuss this if erlang-mode depended on emacs with it but it only 
depends on emacsen-common, which isn't that much of a package.
