Hi,
I just learned via the package smells effort[1] that I'm the maintainer
of vdmfec package. Its dead upstream not used at all according to
popcon and not touched by me since longer than 10 years. I'd love to
get rid of this smelly package which I never used myself. I see no need
to officially orphan the package since it has no users.
Please remove that package from Debian package pool.
