Package: eclipse-titan
Version: 6.5.0-1+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Adding eclipse-titan to a development VM results in a
lot of unnecessary package installs due to the
     dependency on default-jdk.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?

     s. above

   * What was the outcome of this action?

     s. above

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I would like to be able to use the titan TTCN-3 compiler in C++
only mode (without eclipse based UI components which seem to
     required a full blown JDK).

Could you consider to move the dependency on default-jdk to the
recommended (or suggested) packages?
